Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., I called Cayman Airways to confirm our Saturday morning reservations. That's when we discovered that there would be no Saturday flights. The last plane scheduled to leave Cayman Brac would take off at noon. We were the only people from Cayman Brac on that flight.
Notice the masking tape across the windows. That was the extent of the hurricane preparations in this building--which, by the way, is one of the three official hurricane shelters on the island.
