The cistern wasn't originally supposed to be this big, but we hit a cave which would have made the foundation unstable. So, the guys kept digging until the cave dissipated to this little sliver and became safe to build on. Lenaris joked about my "swimming pool," but noted that having more water capacity is never a bad thing.
