June 2004 -- Kelly, the boat, and electricity arrive... July 2004 -- The first non-family visitors to the Brac (Skip and Dan)... 2 August 2004 -- FINALLY have a stable, wireless DSL network! August 2004 -- Yikes! It’s August ALREADY??? September 2004 -- The hurricane season that won’t be forgotten... 11 September 2004 -- Category 5 Hurricane Ivan lashes the Cayman Islands. Well, C&C Construction went off to Grand Cayman to help with the rebuilding of that island. In December 2004, they announced that they would not be returning to finish my house. Thankfully, in January 2005, Mr. Carvel McLean--a highly respected and excellent craftsman--graciously agreed to take over the construction. I will be forever grateful to him. January 2005 -- The construction finally resumes! February 2005 -- J.D. learns how to design a roof... March 2005 -- Vic checks in! April 2005 -- Closing in on a year of effort... |
